Clinical studies and publications
Providers with Wendy Novak Diabetes Institute are at the forefront of research on pediatric Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and other endocrine conditions. As principal investigators on numerous clinical trials, our specialist physicians have experience with newly approved therapies as well as access to innovative treatments. To date, we have 18 active studies with more than 315 patient participants enrolled, helping to provide early access to innovative treatments and further research innovation.

Clinical publications are the primary way discoveries become part of the global scientific record. Active participation and support for publication efforts lead to permanent, widely shared knowledge that drives better care for patients everywhere. Additionally, this activity aids in recruiting future clinical talent, gaining credibility from national partners and demonstrating transparency in responsible medical ethics.
Our team’s work appeared in 33 clinical publications during the past 24 months, and in 133 clinical publications since 2020.
